Montra consists of 9 luxury villas in a walled tropical garden setting. Our unusual pool is both recreation and decoration. Lushly landscaped, it winds its way around the property, passing near the entrance to each villa. Swimming underneath an arbor holding a beautifully flowering Rangoon creeper can be stunning. Villa design combines the elegance of Bali with the burnished dark woods of Northern Thai Lanna style.

Montra - Each villa is a spacious 63 square meters and offers a master bedroom with high ceiling and top quality bed and linens. The living room comes equipped with DVD, CD, Cable TV, and ADSL. The sofa converts to that rarity, a comfortable queen-sized sofa bed. Your 14 square meter bathroom offers both an open shower with stone floor and a bathtub designed with twin headrests, definitely for two! WiFi is available in our restaurant and pool sala areas.

Montra’s restaurant provides a hearty start to your day (we are happy to deliver breakfast to your villa), poolside refreshments, and an elegant mix of fine Vietnamese and Thai choices. The open sided design lets you enjoy Samui’s clean air in any weather.

Ingsila Spa is a dedicated villa available for solo or couples treatments, and massage can also be taken at our pool sala or in the privacy of your villa.

Here at Montra we turn small into beautiful. Our spa suite is housed in one or our villas and will serve you, or you and your partner, as an exclusive retreat from stress. This luxurious Lanna style villa has a tub for two and large open sided shower. We also offer massage at our pool sala as well as in your own villa (for our in house guests).

Our trainer, Ricardo Neuman, brings 25 years of massage and spa experience to Ingsila. Trained in Hawaii and California, he practices many massage styles, such as Shiatsu, Swedish, Hot Stone massage, sports massage, therapeutic massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, and the subtle energy work of Cranial Sacral therapy. In addition, he is a baccalaureate in Nutrition with 30 years experience in natural foods, holistic health, and Wellness counseling. Consultations and treatments are available for our spa guests.

Foot ritual – All spa guests are welcomed with the floral foot ritual. Sit on our balcony while our therapist washes and invigorates your feet. Complimentary

Foot massage – Our foot massage can be a wonderful 30 minutes or a divine 60. We exfoliate with Sea Salt and Kaffir lime and then combine Western massage and Eastern reflexology into foot heaven.

Thai massage – World famous Thai Yoga massage uses pressing moves with the thumbs and palms as well as assisted stretching. Designed to open up the energy channels of the body. Good for sluggishness as well as agitated or weak energy. Caution - may leave inflexible or out of condition people stiff the next day. Oil massage – our special fusion massage combines the classic strokes of Swedish massage with the long flowing use of the forearm from Hawaiian Lomi Lomi.
