An action-packed weekly activities program includes cultural classes (Thai cooking, dancing, language, introduction to Thai Buddhism, massage, arts and crafts, kick boxing, Batik, origami, fruit carving), yoga, meditation, aerobics, diving, stretch classes, pilates, fit ball, cardio funk, fitness evaluation, spirit house tour, garden tour, photo tour and much more.

Tennis - two lighted Plexipave surface tennis courts. Our resident Peter Burwash International (PBI) tennis professional is available and offers a full PBI tennis program. Racquet hire available.

Golf - Ten minutes drive from the resort, the internationally
recognized Blue Canyon Country Club features 36 holes of championship golf. Asia Golf Monthly Magazine named Phuket as the “Best Golf Destination in Asia” for 2001 and the Canyon Course at Blue Canyon Country Club as the “Best Golf Course in Asia”.

Children’s Pavilion - An extensive range of programs caters for all ages from tots to teens, with fabulous facilities including computers, large flat screen for movies, Sony Play Station, Puzzles, Pool Table and Table Tennis for the teens and computers, cubby
house/climbing frame, learning programs, wooden toys, arts and crafts and a fully supervised Little Turtles Program daily from 9.00am to 5.00pm for the younger ones.

Swimming Pools - The resort has two magnificent swimming pools. The main pool meanders over 107 meters and includes bubble beds, a

Watersports - a selection of non-powered sea kayaks, windsurfers, boogie boards, Hobie Cat and two Zuma sailing Dinghy’s.

Restaurants

Dining at JW Marriott is designed not only to satisfy the palate, but also to entertain guests with interactive service. Especially in Cucina with its exhibition kitchen, Kabuki Sushi Bar, where guests can watch the Master Chefs create their delicacies, and Sala Rim Talay, Seafood Market, where guests choose from an array of the freshest seafood which is then cooked to their personal taste.

Marriott Cafe - across the expanse of the refection pool from Cucina, and overlooking the beach the Marriott Cafe? blends flavors of the east and west. Dishes showcase fresh, bold flavors, and exquisite presentation from the finest ingredients. Service is efficient and friendly, characterized by the traditional hospitality for which Thailand is famous. Interiors at the Marriott Cafe? are contemporary Thai, highlighting the use of teak and polished granite.

Sumptuous buffets are served for breakfast in addition to the all day a-la-carte menu.

Sala Rim Talay, Seafood Market - literally translates as "Pavillion at the edge of the Sea". This versatile restaurant has dramatic views over Mai Khao Beach and the Andaman Sea.

Open daily from 11am for light lunches, guests can dine inside the open-air restaurant, or beside the pool.

The lunch menu consists of easy-to-handle items such as burgers, sandwiches, salads and lightly-grilled dishes.

In the evenings Sala Rim Talay, Seafood Market transforms into a vibrant seafood market where guests can choose from an vast array of fresh, succulent seafood, caught locally. The waters off Phuket offer seasonal lobsters, soft-shell crabs, prawns, oysters and many varieties of fish. Dishes are prepared using traditional Thai and Southeast Asian methods.

Guests can interact with their server and chef as they wander through the marketplace choosing menu items and selecting their wines.

Seating capacity is for 62 people.

Cucina - Takes in sweeping views of the reflection pool, the main swimming pool and the ocean beyond, from a superb vantage point on the second level. It's an upbeat authentic Italian restaurant with the finest food, relaxed dining and interactive, entertaining service. Rustic interiors, unique old-world artifacts and an open kitchen that's as lively as an opera performance, create a unique atmosphere. Authentic northern Italian fare and traditional favorites are created from the freshest ingredients, and are then artfully presented by lively staff.

Dinner is served from 6:00pm 11.00pm. Cucina has a total seating capacity of 77, with 55 seats inside and 22 on the terrace, with stunning views over the Andaman Sea.

Kabuki Sushi Bar - Kabuki is a traditional form of Japanese theatre founded in the early 17th century. Sophisticated and highly-stylized, it features dramatic costumes, masks and intricate make up.
Located in the gallery overlooking the reflection pool, Kabuki is an open-air sushi bar. Guests strolling through the lobby can watch our Master Sushi Chef preparing his specialties. Textured glass and celadon sushi platters highlight presentation of this culinary art form.

Open daily from 2:00 - 11:00 pm with seating for 36 people; eight at the Sushi counter and table seating for an additional 28.

Siam Deli offering cafe - style dining with an extensive menu of made-to order gourmet sandwiches, salads, cakes, pastries, ice cream, desserts and delicious specialty coffees and beverages.

A range of aromatic breads are freshly baked daily with a blackboard posting the next batch to be out of oven. A delicious range of home-made delicacies will also be available to eat in or "to-go".

Open daily from 7:00 am with indoor seating for 30 and additional covered seating alongside the shopping arcade for 16.

Rim Nam Pool Bar - perfect for poolside cocktails and a range of delicious snacks served in a relaxed tropical setting. Open daily from 10am.

Sala Sawasdee Lobby Bar serves cocktails and light snacks. Charming wait staff offer a selection of unique “Asian Tapas” which can be enjoyed to the accompaniment of traditional Thai music.

Late in the evening the ambiance changes and guests can dance the night away to the sounds of live Jazz, or relax in oversized chairs with after dinner drinks, cigars and exotic cocktails.

Open daily from 10:30am, the Lobby Bar seats 51, including 12 at the bar.

In-room dining is available 24 hours daily. Guests can enjoy a meal in the privacy of their room, or take their supper on the romantic outdoor terrace or balcony.

Spa Cuisine - a range of light, health spa-inspired cuisine items are available in each restaurant.

ACCOMMODATION :

All rooms and suites face the ocean or command expansive views of the landscaped tropical gardens and pools. Most rooms have full or partial views of the Andaman Sea. Accommodation is contained in low rise three storey buildings amongst an oasis of coconut palms and lush tropical gardens.

Deluxe Sala Garden View Rooms, Deluxe Sala Sea View Rooms, and Deluxe Sala Terrace Rooms - rooms are spacious and elegant with a minimum of 47 square meters of luxurious living space. Each room features a balcony and indoor ‘sala’ with twin massage mats and colorful triangular cushions for reading and relaxing. Polished wooden floors and rich silk fabrics from Jim Thompson further enhance the Thai ambience. Bathrooms are luxuriously spacious and feature separate shower and oversized soaking tub. Louvered panels open to provide a view from the bath to the room beyond. Dual-line telephone with modem port, high speed internet access, mini-bar, coffee/tea-making facilities, and electronic safety boxes are in all rooms. One third of the rooms(Deluxe Sala Terrace Rooms), located on the ground floor, have an additional 16 square meter private landscaped terrace.

One Bedroom Suites
Twelve luxurious one-bedroom suites have commanding views of the Andaman Sea. Each suite measures 98 square meters. Eight suites have the option of an additional interconnecting room. One-bedroom suites have a balcony measuring a minimum of 71 square meters.

Two of these rooms are adjacent and do not inter-connect while the third connects to a standard feature room for guests travelling with special needs guests.

Comprises three luxurious, elegant villas, with two expansive bedrooms and an exquisite living/dining pavilion. Luxurious bathrooms with soaking tub for two with view over private garden, with ornate double outdoor 'bird cage' private showers. Located in a private area overlooking the Andaman Sea, the Royal Suite measures 340 square meters. In addition, Royal Suite guests enjoy full butler service.

Royal Suite Living/Dining Pavilion
Part of the Royal Suite, located between two elegant villas with an additional 305 square meters of outdoor living space, including an 18 meter private swimming pool, an outdoor whirlpool and relaxing deck area overlooking the Andaman Sea. Our Royal Suite Living/Dining Pavilion is also ideal venue for informal meetings and cocktails.
