HOTEL OVERVIEW:

The Pimalai Resort and Spa is an elegant boutique resort on untouched Lanta Island in the Andaman Sea, Southern Thailand. The resort offers 75 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites decorated in southern Thai style.

The Pimalai Resort and Spa occupies 100 acres of lush tropical forest with direct access to a 900 meter stretch of pristine sandy beach. Visit once and you'll return again and again.

Transportation from Krabi, Phuket or Trang Airport can be arranged; it consists of a 50 minutes drive from Krabi Airport, 3hr from Phuket Airport and 1hr20 from Trang Airport followed by a scenic ride (50 minutes) along the coast of Lanta Islands on the resort's air conditioning cruising boat, that will take you right at the resort's beach.

FACILITIES & DINING OUTLET:

Children Pool & Jacuzzi - Young child under 6 years old are not allowed in the large pool and should deep in the small shallow water pool that is allocated to them. Meanwhile adults can enjoy a relaxing back massage in the Jacuzzi which is integrated in the large swimming pool.

Pool Bar - An informal spot for refreshing drinks and light snacks whilst sunbathing around our stunning infinity-edge swimming pool.

Fitness Room - The Fitness Room features small gym functions with high quality fitness equipments to either relax or power up yourself. You can also enjoy a superb view of Ba Kan Tiang bay whilst exercising. The gym equipment includes, Lifecycle upright bike, Stair climber, Life fitness 3 stack multi-gyms, Adjustable Incline bench, Twin tier dumbbell rack and a treadmill; the 900 meters long beach and the newly concreted road that slices through the tropical vegetation are also ideal training grounds!

Meeting & Business - The Resort is the perfect location for private celebrations, weddings, executive meetings, weekend retreats and small incentive events. Pimalai Resort & Spa has the flexibility and the support team in place to ensure the professional management of your event from beginning to end. The Resort offers a Boardroom sitting 8 people and a meeting room sitting up to 36 people in theater style (24 in classroom style).

Pimalai Spa - Set in a lush sloping valley, lies Pimalai Spa, where the winds bring flashes of light fragrances to the small walled treatment rooms, each named after a local flower. The Spa aims at bringing back guests to nature; built in the shape of a village style, the pretty small straw roofed 'Salas' blend totally with the natural beauty of the jungle.

Spa Treatment Room - The seven treatment huts equipped with double or single beds are mainly used for aromatherapy massages and body wraps or body scrub treatments. An imposing open-air pavilion standing at the bottom of the small valley is home to the Thai traditional massage whilst just across, the outdoor Jacuzzi with the adjacent herbal sauna just awaits for you to dip in, refresh and cleanse your body before your selected treatment.

Restaurants - An exciting choice of restaurants & bars offers an extensive variety of cuisines to suit everyone's tastes.

Superior Rooms:

Our superior rooms are set in sixteen small southern Thai style houses, each containing 4 rooms.

The bedroom of the Superior - Each air conditioning room equipped with king or twin beds, have large living space with polished teak wood floor, rich Thai fabric, bamboo curtains and original mural paintings from local artists.

The bathroom of the Superior - The adjacent bathroom, either opens onto the bedroom or overlooks the garden and includes bathtub, separate walk-in shower and toilets. 

The Bayfront Deluxe sets some 15 meters above sea level with superb views of the beach and the surrounding lush tropical nature.

The bedroom of the Bayfront Deluxe - The bedroom offers a great living space with polished teak wood floor, rich Thai cotton upholstery, bamboo curtains and Siamese artifacts.

The bathroom of the Bayfront Deluxe - A large bathroom with double vanity basins, separate walk-in shower and toilets; featured in this bathroom is a bathtub set behind a large window offering great views of the bay.

These fully air-conditioned luxurious suites are available in combination of one or two bedrooms, of either 110, or 160 square meters with excellent views of Ba Kan Tiang Bay. A separate, elegantly appointed lounge opens out onto a wood sundeck and miniature garden of tropical shrubs, plants and flowers.

The Master Bedroom of the Pavilion Suite - All suites' master bedroom have a king-size bed and offer refined Thai style interior design with polished teak wood floor, bamboo curtains and Siamese artifacts.

The Second Bedroom of the Pavilion Suite - In the Pavilion Suite - Two Bedrooms, the second bedroom is equipped with twin beds and features an oversized bathroom with double vanity basins and a bathtub overlooking a private manicured garden equipped with an open-air shower. The second bedroom is well  detached from the master bedroom and living room building and therefore offers complete privacy to its occupants.

The bathroom of the Pavilion Suite - The oversized bathroom of the Pavilion suite features double vanity basins, inside separate walk-in shower and toilets, and a bathtub overlooking a small manicured garden also equipped with an open-air shower.

Beach Villa:

Spectacularly located, hidden away among coconut palms and lush tropical vegetation and adjacent to the main resort are the seven Beach Villas. In line with the resort southern style architecture, the superb villas set peacefully within landscaped garden and with direct access to Ba Kan Tiang pristine sandy beach.

Spacious, thoughtfully designed with refined elegance and comfort, the villas one, two and three bedrooms offer privacy and unrivaled views of the beach and the Andaman sea towards a brilliant Thai sunset.
