Its population reaches 8000 native inhabitants. The luxurious Green Papaya Resort is on the North West side of the island, on Haad Salad beach, a little cove bordered with fine sand and clear blue water, that's ideal to swim about and an excellent spot for snorkeling.

We have kept as many coconut trees as we possibly could and the delicate scents of the many plants that we have added to the garden will be there to excite your senses.

Snorkelling - The superb underwater landscapes provided by the coral barrier right in front of our resort have to be seen. Snorkeling equipment can be rented from our resort (100 Baht par day). Boat Restaurant - Authentic and singular Thai and International food, lovingly prepared by our Chef. Our "boat" restaurant offers a panoramic view on the ocean, the pool and our tropical garden.

ACCOMMODATION:

The Green Papaya Resort consists of 12 spacious luxury bungalows, tastefully fitted out, and was built so as to respect the environment it is set in. Amongst other features, all bungalows are equipped with an alternative means of generating energy (solar system) to produce hot water. The resort is set amid a coconut plantation and a tropical garden, and all bungalows beneficiate of a sea view.
